Pink & Black’s Favorite Things 2015

It’s time for our third annual Favorite Things! Each year we share a few of the things we can’t live without, in hopes to inspire you for holiday shopping. See what made our list this year!

1. The Artist’s Studio Eau De Parfum
I love perfumes that are easy to carry and smell good without being overwhelming, and I think Anthropologie’s collection of The Artist’s Studio Eau De Parfum is the perfect fit for anyone that agrees with me. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the Winter Floral one.
– Saleah Blancaflor

2. Better Than Sex Mascara by Two Faced
Since I’ve started wearing makeup, I’ve been on the search for the perfect mascara. Over the years I have found a few I like, but nothing compares to this mascara. I bought it on a whim one day at Sephora and little did I know that my search for the perfect mascara had come to an end.
– Savannah Sawyer

3. Mason Jar Water Bottle/Mug
I know it’s lame to put a water bottle as my favorite thing, but I honestly use this constantly every single day. It really helps me drink more water than I would normally. It may be dull, but it keeps me happy because I stay energized, healthy, and hydrated.
– Will Rhino

4. Kiss My Face Cold & Flu Bath and Shower Gel
I love this shower gel! It’s got a minty, eucalyptus scent that works with your shower or bath steam to open up your sinuses. It makes me feel better when I have a cold, or just when I need an invigorating pick-me-up (it makes sore, post-workout muscles feel amazing)! Plus, it’s all natural and leaves your skin feeling soft.
– Olivia French

5. Marc Jacobs Dot Perfume
This is my go-to scent for everything. It’s playful and sweet, with a nice floral note that helps balance it out. It’s good for everything from work to date night. And how cute is the bottle?
– Olivia French

6. Eccolo Journal
I’ve had about four or five of these journals now, and I can’t imagine a more perfect notebook. They’re adorable, and the quotes or designs on the front are always good motivation. The paper is good quality, so I can use my favorite pens without worrying about them bleeding through to the other side. I keep one in my everyday tote bag for my own random thoughts, to-do lists, etc. and keep one for work at my desk.
– Olivia French

7. My Planner/Planning
While my planner is not filled with decorated pages of various strips of washi tape and cute stickers, I still really love my $10 planner that I picked up at Target. It helps keep me on task and it’s nice to be able to see an overview of my week. I’ve also been getting into the habit of writing out my schedule the night before and I find it to be oddly relaxing.
– Mary-Jo Enriquez

8. Post-its
No matter what I’m doing, I love to have sticky notes around to organize everything. I use a variety of colors, which help things pop in an effective way. It’s handy to have notes and to-do lists in front of me in a tangible way.
– Kathleen Hansen

9. Beauty Blender
I know it seems ridiculous to pay $20 for a small sponge but it’s one of the best investments you can make in your beauty arsenal. It makes my foundation apply very naturally and makes the process quick and easy. I also use mine to blend concealer. I’ve tried an off-brand beauty sponge but the original Beauty Blender is very light and soft and the shape is perfect for application so I recommend it over others. Don’t forget to dampen it before use so it doesn’t soak up your products.
– Anna Taylor
