5 Beauty Brands That Are Cruelty-Free

Searching for products that fulfill your beauty needs but are also in line with your morals and values? Look no further because these five companies are cruelty-free and affordable.

e.l.f.

If you’re on a budget, this brand is the most cost-effective option. e.l.f. can be purchased at Target for as little as one dollar and can be found in the checkout lines for an even more discounted price.

PETA approves and so do we!

Wet N Wild

Also on the more affordable side, Wet N Wild offers vegan products. For as low as these items are going for at drugstores (most prices range from around $1 to $5), it’s hard to believe, but it is 100% fact and 100% awesome!

Urban Decay

You’ll pay a little more for this brand, but it’s worth every penny. Urban Decay almost found its way to the dark side by selling their products in China where animal testing is required by law, but they have since changed their minds. They have agreed to stop selling their products in China until cruelty-free testing methods are accepted there. Yay! Kudos to them! You can pick up Urban Decay at Sephora and Ulta stores.

theBalm

The founder and CEO, Marissa Shipman, worked extremely hard to get this company off the ground and it is a success. She now spends time giving back. All net proceeds of her Balm to the Rescue Lip Treatment goes to pug rescue. Cruelty-free and charitable? We’re definitely fans of this brand! theBalm can be found at Nordstrom and in Birchboxes, along with its website.

Physician’s Formula

Not only does this brand have cruelty-free products, they also offer a line of 100% organic products and argan oil products.

They are PETA approved, soft on the skin and extremely accessible. You can purchase these products at drugstores, Target, Walmart and Ulta.

These aren’t the only brands that don’t test on animals. There are tons more and PETA is still fighting the good fight to get everyone on board. Until then, do your research and spread the word. We can look beautiful without hurting our furry friends.
