Build Your Own Fashion Emergency Kit

As grown and responsible women, we know it’s always best to be prepared for any situation that may come our way. After all, sometimes bad things and accidental coffee spills happen to good people. Battle fashion misfortune by creating your own custom Fashion Emergency Kit and never say, “I wish I had a [insert your fave product here]!

” again.

We’ve listed our top must-have items in your Fashion Emergency Kit right now.

What To Include

Clear Bag: Easy access is key, so housing your essentials calls for a clear pouch. Instead of a Ziploc, opt for a more durable bag this one from the Container Store ($7).

BreastPetals: Unless you’re Rihanna at the 2014 CFDA Awards, you shouldn’t be bearing your lady bulls-eyes in public. Invest in a few pairs of BreastPetals available at Target (3 pairs for $7).

HeelTips: Few things are worse than an exposed high heel and the sound of metal to metal. A quick-fix to worn down heels is Fab Feet Heel Tips ($6) from Target.

Nail Emergency Kit: Broken nail? No problem with the Trim Beauty Care All Purpose Nail Kit, $3.

Fashion Tape: Fix hems, keep a garment where it’s supposed to be and even do a little no-show magic with this handy no-sewing-needed fix. Try Hollywood Fashion Tape, $9.

FootPetals: Beauty is pain, our mothers used to say, but we don’t think looking fabulous should have to hurt so much. Get cozy in your favorite pair of heels by adding a set of FootPetals, $7.

Oil blotting sheets: We suggest TARTE Not So Slick Oil-Absorbing Blotting Papers, $10 from Sephora.

Bounce + Febreeze Lint Roller: Maximize convenience by looking and smelling better simultaneously. We suggest the Bounce Scented Lint Roller with Febreze, Spring & Renewal, $5.

Sheer underwear: Maybe it was dark when you were getting dressed—no judgement, we understand—or you left the house to realize your pants were more see through than you thought. Whatever the case may be, a sheer nude thong will solve that potentially catastrophic  problem. Coasabella ‘Soire New Italian’ Thong, $18, at Nordstrom.

Deodorant: No explanation needed. Try Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel Antiperspirant & Deodorant, $12.

Mini Sewing Kit: For when the fashion tape just isn’t cutting it, fall back on the Singer Sewing Repair Kit ($3).

Deodorant removers: Never fret about deodorant marks on your black shirt again. Try P&B’s favorite choice, Blue 7 Deodorant Removers ($8).

Safety Pins: For another quick way to hold a garment in place or mend a broken strap, use Singer Safety PIns, $6.

Eye drops: An instant pick me up for tired eyes, P&B suggests Rohto Cool Redness Relief, $7.
