Revamp Your Profile This Fall

Fall is such an easy season to love. It can often feel like all the pros of summer without the intense heat. There’s tons of stuff to do that nature provides, and everything just seems cozy. However, this comfort means it is rarely taken as an opportunity to have a fresh start.

That’s why it’s the perfect time to update your social media presence.

It’s an easy way to switch things up in your life and give you a fresh feeling. It’s very common to have sites talk about how to stay physically energized by doing small things throughout the day. Well, changing a profile picture is something simple that can improve your mental energy.

Doing something as easy as changing your picture could have far reaching results. Something like putting yourself in a positive light can give a slight confidence boost. It’s a picture you look at every day, and, as it gets darker earlier, it can really pump up your energy to look at something new as fall fades. The change can also increase self-esteem. Confidence and self-esteem often go hand-in-hand. Posting a new photo is the perfect opportunity to feel better about your physical appearance, get a mental boost, and show everyone how you perceive yourself.

It’s important to post something positive because science has proved that people view you differently based on the picture you post. Of course, not many strangers will likely be looking at your profile, but it still doesn’t hurt to put your best foot forward at all times. You don’t want your friends or casual acquaintances to get the wrong idea about your current state of mind.

There are also tons of other pictures to change besides a profile picture. Twitter backgrounds, Twitter profile pictures, or any other sites that have icons or customizable options. It may not have the far reaching effect like a fresh Facebook change, but it can still make things seem new with minimal effort.

So while you sip on a pumpkin spice latte, cook a pumpkin pie, or wander through a corn maze, be sure to be that friend who forces someone else to take your picture. The dirty looks are worth a few dozen likes.
