Now, there are nail polishes that are already matte, so a top coat is not needed, but you’ll still face problems with chipping. Before using polish, stay away from creams and lotions that cause oily nails. When applying, paint thin layers and wait for them to dry. Also, be sure to go over the tip of your nails with a vertical swipe to avoid chipping there.
