This month, they were asked to share someone who inspires them in someway, whether they’re a male or female, alive or dead, famous or not, and explain why. Here’s what some of them had to say.
My brother, Ben, is the person in my life who inspires me the most. He has autism and is one of the smartest, funniest and kindest people I know. He is always inspiring me to be a better person and has taught me more than anyone I have ever known.

Lately, I’ve been inspired by Nikki Phillippi, a YouTuber. I admire how comfortable she is in her own skin that she frequently appears on-camera with no makeup and doesn’t act any differently. She’s really honest about her life, her past, her struggles, her insecurities and I think to put that out on the internet is very brave. She’s true to who she is as a person and is so open about the fact that she is a Christian.

My mom inspires me every single day, even when she’s doing nothing more than laying on the couch with me. She is living proof that no matter how many obstacles life puts in your way, there is a way to conquer them. She inspires me to be brave, kind and remain true to myself, while encouraging me to embrace the person I am instead of the person I think I should be.

My mom inspires me as she is a hard worker and also the most giving a loving person I know. She would give the clothes off of her back for me, my brother and her grandchildren. I definitely try my best to be as caring as her and as determined to be a great mother like her. She’s my mom, my best friend and my idol!
