Splurge Vs. Save: Eyebrow Products

In the days of bold brows there are so many products on the market.

It can be overwhelming for those who may just be getting started, while others may be looking for new ways to update their look. Whether you’re new to filling in brows or you’re a pro, you’re probably looking for ways to splurge or save on some of the best products.

Brow wands are arguably the easiest eyebrow filler out there. They are great in a time crunch or if you’re just going out to run errands and don’t want the hassle of caking on makeup.

Maybelline Brow Drama – Save $7.99 Simply swipe up in small strokes then smooth your brows over your brow line. The thickness of the brush fits to the thickness of your eyebrows.

Benefit Gimme Brow – Splurge $18 The small brush head makes the product super easy to handle. It gives you the ability to pay close attention to detail while still having the effortless look and feel.

If you are looking to advance your brow game, an eyebrow kit is the way to go. It takes slightly longer to apply than the simple wand, but this is where you want to turn if you’re looking to bold up your brows. Both kits offer a wax for shaping and a powder setting.

e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit – Save $3 e.l.f. offers a product very similar to Benefit’s Brow Zings. The only difference between the two is what the kit comes with. The bargain brand product comes with a double-sided brush; one side to be used in the wax, the other with the powder.

Benefit Brow Zings – Splurge $32 By splurging a bit on this product, you not only get two separate brushes for both the wax and the powder, but you also receive a small pair of tweezers to help keep your brows in shape and pluck stray hairs.

Filling in your brows with a pencil can be tricky, though when done correctly it can look effortless. It’s faster and easier to use then a brow kit, but a little tricker than wands.

Revlon Brow Fantasy Pencil & Gel – Save $7.99 Revlon has a two in one pencil product that is very user-friendly. Starting with the pencil side, use small strokes to fill in your brows. Flip the tool over and use the gel in order to keep the hairs in place.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz – Splurge $21 The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz allows you to straighten out and shape your brows with one end of the tool and fill them in with the other. The smooth tip of the pencil allows you to fill in your brows easily.

Aside from filling in your eyebrows, you’ll also have to be able to maintain them. It’s important to get the right tools and know how to use them the correct way.

Revlon Expert Tweezer – Save $6.99 The Revlon Expert Tweezer’s tip allows you to get a good grip on unwanted hairs, while being precise enough to get every last hair.

Tweezerman – Splurge $23 Tweezerman’s slant tweezer has been in Allure’s Best of Beauty roundup for the past 12 years. Like Revlon’s product, this tweezer’s shape allows you to get every last unwanted hair.
