You may have seen your favorite celebrities rocking sheet masks.Even Chris Pratt gave it a try backstage at the Letterman show. These thin cotton sheets are soaked in a formula that is said to be much like an affordable at-home facial. You may be able to save a few dollars and skip the spa, ladies…and gentlemen?
How do they work?
You place the mask on your face, leave it on for a while and remove. It’s that simple. Since sheet masks are saturated in skin-healing serums that you don’t rinse off like other masks, your pores are able to soak up the formula. You are essentially force-feeding your pores skin medicine!
How do I decide which mask I need?
There are plenty of masks to choose from and you’re probably wondering where to even start. Select your sheet mask based on the problem you would like to treat. If you have dry skin, go for a hydrating mask that’s rich in sodium hyaluronate. If your skin is irritated easily, choose a mask that has anti-inflammatory ingredients. To brighten up dull skin, select a mask that is rich in Vitamin C.
