We all have different struggles with our fitness routines.
Some of us may dread the monotony that is another day on the elliptical. Others of us can’t be motivated to get our butts off the couch after a long day. Some of us feel pretty good about our workout routines, but we’re not sure how to balance cardio with strength training.
Or maybe you know exactly what you want to be doing, but you can’t afford memberships at a hundred different studios to meet your needs.ClassPass can help solve any and all of those dilemmas.
ClassPass is a monthly membership program that gets you access to tons of studios and gyms in your home city. For $99 a month, you can take any 10 classes you want that are part of the network in your city of choice.
Thankfully, ClassPass has hugely expanded in recent months. While it started in major cities like New York and Los Angeles, the program is now available in 32 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Chances are, you could join and exponentially expand your fitness options. Ranging from spinning to barre, boot camp to restorative yoga, TRX to heavy lifting, ClassPass gives you the opportunity to try anything and everything you’ve ever remotely considered.
Regardless of your preferences, ClassPass won’t let you fall into a workout rut: you’re only allowed to take a class at the same studio three times in one month, so you’ll be forced to try things outside your comfort zone. While it may be hard to tear yourself away from that perfect class, your body and muscles will thank you when they are challenged in so many new ways over the course of only 30 days.
You can’t skip out, either—ClassPass has a really fair cancellation policy, but it still won’t allow you to decide last minute that you’d rather eat nachos while watching Game of Thrones instead of hitting up a TRX class. As long as you cancel within 24 hours, you’re fine, but closer to the start of class than that and you’ll be hit for $15. Decide to just not show up? $20 will be withdrawn from your account. Not only does this prevent empty classes (which can get kind of awkward), the policy also makes sure you really commit to the schedule you sign up for.
Most of the studios who partner with ClassPass charge upwards of $25 to take a drop-in class, and their memberships are generally pricey, too. ClassPass lets you access those diverse, challenging classes without having to commit to one studio or one type of workout. If you’re going to invest in your health, which we all really should, ClassPass is a cost efficient and fun way to do it.
Sign up and go find your new favorite fitness class, instructor and studio. And then go try nine more in the same month.
